Scholarship Bio Fitter

One bio, every application box, each sized and tailored to the scholarship.

Paste a student's biography and a scholarship application's questions. AI finds each field and its length limit, then writes content for every box, tailored to what the scholarship values and checked to fit.

How this was built

I mentor with HighView, helping students through college applications. When we filled out scholarship applications, every one wanted the student's story in slightly different boxes: a 250-character bio here, a 150-word statement there. And we wanted each version to lean into what that particular scholarship cared about.

My first version used a Nova Act browser agent to read the fields off the form. This rebuild skips the browser: paste the application's questions and the model pulls out the fields and limits. The code, not the model, counts the characters, and anything over a limit goes back for another pass.

Built while mentoring students with HighView, April 2025. Runs on DeepSeek V3.2 in Amazon Bedrock.
